Weber marine VEM PU-1 is a 2-component polyurethane based levelling compound for producing viscoelastic sandwich structures.
Specially designed to absorb and dissipate sound energy, resulting in quieter and more comfortable environment for passangers and crew members, while also protecting equipment from potential damage.
Easy applied and good adhesion to various surfaces, allowing for flexible and efficient installation in different areas of the vessel.
As intermediate layer in sandwich structures between deck and steel plates or between deck and mineral levelling compound on Marine & Offshore structures that requires noise reduction.
Tested and IMO MED certified to be used in the constructions of "A", "B" & "C" fire class divisions.
