weber rex fix - tile adhesive
weber rex fix is a cement-based, flexible and polymer-reinforced tile adhesive. Used for tiling most types of ceramics onboard ships and offshore installations. Can be used on both absorbent/non-absorbent surfaces in wet and dry rooms. Excellent for use with electric or water-borne underfloor heating.
Tested and certified according to the IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 5 as part of System weber WX - MEDB0000790 / MERB0000790 & System weber fix MEDB000078Z / MERB000078Z.
Packaging
- 20 kg bag
- Used for tiling most types of ceramics.
- Can be used on both absorbent/non-absorbent surfaces in wet and dry rooms.
- For indoor and outdoor use on walls and floors.
- Excellent for use with electric or water-borne underfloor heating.
Do not use on tiles that are sensitive to discolouration or for tiles with a reactive silicon content due to the risk of alkali silicon reactions.
When using floors with underfloor heating, the heating must be switched off at least two days before laying the tiles.
The underfloor heating should not be switched on until at least one week after the floor has been grouted.
NB: Newly poured floors may require a longer curing time. The heat can then be gradually increased.
